What’s an IED? What’s a LAV? What’s 3D? It is hard to find a straight answer for what seems like a simple question. The following are a list of terms that are most commonly used when discussing Canada’s contribution to the war in Afghanistan. We have tried our best to define these terms as objectively as possible, leaving behind the political ammunition that can easily be associated with these terms.
